It is with great sadness that the Thamesford Minor Baseball Association announces the cancellation of our 2020 season. While we know there will be many disappointed children and families (the executive included), we feel this is in the best interests of all, taking into consideration the health and safety of our players, umpires, coaches and spectators.
At this time team sports and large gatherings are still prohibited by government order. Even if these prohibitions are lifted at some point during the summer, it will be challenging and impractical for TMBA to be able to put together a modified, shortened season, extending late into the summer, on little notice, and in line with the restrictions and guidelines that we expect will imposed.
Families will be given a full refund of their registration fees and you will receive an email in the coming days with further instructions in this regard. We thank everyone in advance for your patience as we work through this process.
The TMBA will still be holding the raffle draw on August 22, 2020 as a fundraiser for the purchase of a batting cage for the associations use. If you are in need of booklets in order to sell the tickets, please reach out to a member of the executive in order to collect the tickets.
Although team sports are currently prohibited, the Township diamonds are currently open for use. Please get out with your families, enjoy the warmer weather, practice your baseball skills, while adhering to Government orders and Township guidelines, and maintaining social distancing.

We hope everyone is staying well during this time and look forward to seeing you back on the diamonds when TMBA returns for the 2021 season.
