Thamesford wins opening game of the season
Dustin Hunter pitched 4 innings allowing only 1 unearned run as Thamesford won its first game of the season 7-5 over EBBA team from London. Carter Scott and Jesse Carew each pitched one inning of relief to finish off the game, The offence was powered by Wyatt Lansdell who drilled a pitch over the left field fence for a 2 run HR. Eric Rudy and Jay Cox each had an RBI single and Carter Scott had an RBI on a bases loaded Walk. Jesse Carew also created a run on his own by hitting a single, stealing 2nd and 3rd base on consecutive pitches and then going home on a wild throw to third by the pitcher.
